Who will you cheer for now?

With the Cardinals surrender, who do you cheer for now--both in the NL Central and in MLB overall?

Personally, I will cheer for the Brewers--primarily because I cannot bear cheering for either the Reds or Cubs.

Nationally, I will at least pay more attention to the Mariners and potentially to any other team that Arenado may be traded to, except the Cubs, who secretly I would like to see pick up Arenado (just to see him finish in Wrigley).

I hope Maton is traded to the Brewers as well as Sonny Gray should he be dealt.

The answer, you see, is easy as ABC.

Anybody but Cubs.

Why would I cheer for any team other than the Cards?

Will remain a Cardinal fan ! Been a Cardinal fan since Kindergarten in 1953 .. not changing Been thru tough times over the years with Cardinals not changing my allegiance .
As for Brewers , Nope ! I moved from St. Louis to Wisconsin and lived there my entire adult life (prior to retiring to Tennessee ) .
Since my Wis. buddies were all Brewer fans, I kept tabs on them closely but never rooted for them over the Cardinals.

If the Cubs play the Dodgers in the NLCS, you should cheer for the Cubs. I'd rather the Cubs get to a WS than the Dodgers get closer to the Cardinals' 11 WS titles. But, that is the one and only scenario.

The Cardinals. Why would I stop cheering for them?

Now in the likely chance that we don't claim the last NL wild card spot there will certainly be a hierarchy in terms of who I will be least bothered by them winning it all. I usually pull for teams that don't have any sort of rivalry with the Cardinals, so probably the Tigers, Mariners, or Blue Jays and then a gap to a team like the Padres.

For all of my life, I have cheered for the Cardinals, and whoever was playing the small bears.

Of all the teams currently expected to make the playoffs, the Brewers are the team I would root for. The main reason is that they have never won a WS, and the fact that they are one of the lower payroll teams (#23) in MLB. I also like the way they are managed on the field and from their front office.

The Rams and the Bruins. Cross your fingers. The Cardinals becoming the Pirates are losing me.

In the post season (if they get there), I'll be rooting for the Padres and the Brewers. The Pads because (to beat a dead horse) Shildt got done dirty. The Brewers because they ain't the Cubs.

Yeah, despite being a division rival the Brewers winning the WS would be a preferred outcome to the Dodgers, Mets, Phillies, and especially the Cubs. I'd still rather a team like the Padres win it as well as a few other AL teams.

I'll always root for the Cardinals.

For this playoff run, I still like Schildt. But Machado bugs me. So I'm going to pass.

Hmmm can I root for the Mets, with Helsley? My 80's roots won't let me. They are still pond scum.

No on Dodgers, Yankees, Red Sox.

Bad taste to root for the Cubs and Brewers. Are the Royals or Guardians still in it?

I think I'm a Detroit fan this year. Go Tigers. Could flip to the Mariners or Blue Jays just as well. I can be bought.

I guess if I had to choose, the Padres or even the Reds, though the Reds aren't likely to even make the playoffs. I don't like the American League at all. I wouldn't mind seeing the Phillies win again.
