The Red Sox and Cardinals have agreed to a trade that will send left-hander Steven Matz to Boston, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports. The deal will become official once both sides sign off on the medicals of the players involved.

He’s had a good year this year. Hitting .304 with a .494 SLG% in AA/AAA. Don’t know that we could get him for Matz though.

Yep, called it. Boston fans joked about how much Bloom believed in him. Having a good year this year. Appears Jordan needed protecting on 40 man and Red Sox were not putting him on 40 man roster

Hitting very well for a 22 year old in AAA right now although not a ton of homeruns this year. Any idea on his defense? Ive seen he splits time between 3b and 1b. Is there any chance he can stick at 3b or is he bound for 1b. Would be immensely more valuable if he could stick at 3b.
