Palm Beach returns home for a 4 game series (3 days, DH on Saturday) with Jupiter this weekend. Then they're off to Dunedin for a 7 game series.

Strong possibility of several new draft picks joining the Baby Cards on Friday. I base this off prior drafts this decade. Several later round pitchers will likely join the BP.

I give a small chance that Mitchell will join Palm Beach on Friday, but I wouldn't bet on it. There's a 3 week homestand coming up in the middle of August, it's more likely he'll see action then...if at all.

Jack Gurevitch (1B), Matthew Miura (OF), Ryan Weingartner (SS), Michael Dattalo (3B), Jalin Flores (SS), Trevor Haskins (SS), Cameron Nickens (OF), and Chase Heath (C) are the likely candidates....plus the UDFA's we signed.

some of the pitchers will be activated for the BP...usually the ones drafted later in the draft....but anything is possible

I see a signing of 17 yr old Lucas Takahashi in the mlb transactions. I assume that's an international sign. He's assigned to the DSL team.

I would think Ty Van Dyke and Ethan Young will for sure. They are relievers.
