In the worst case they represent a clean slate. For this
fan of the team, I see a lot of upsides in just getting a clean
slate.

Selling is like a grab bag event. "Hey what did we get,
what did we get? they should have got more"

Now if they move a player that's not a pending FA. That
would become interesting and could enlighten us for 2026.
I just don't think the focus is there and would love to be wrong.

But we can acknowledge having Mikolas gone and $18 million is a definite plus.

For sure. Though whether we move him this week (we won’t) or he departs after the season, most of this slate cleans itself by season end on its own.

So Bloom can focus on which controllable players to keep or move, and start building. Though it would be nice if some growth moves happened this week to get a jump on the off-season.

If Mo gets hung up again on moving Nado that’s just a Distraction that Might prevent more helpful transactions.

Mo does very little at the trade deadlines anyway so it would be standard operating procedure
