How about Cards trade Helsley, Arenado, & Donovan to Dodgers for C Dalton Rushing and P Bobby Miller. Eat most of Nados contract.

Its hard watching these other so-called catchers everyday. Yes I know we have young catchers in the minors that can help as well, but its time to upgrade the position.

So basically our reliever who hits FA in 2 months for their best catching prospect and a pitcher with tons of upside.

Nah, I might try Hels for Miller straight up. Donnie is their most valuable piece, he should net 1-2 top shelf prospects alone.

Still no need to add another C, especially with Bernal (Top 100, switch hitter) on the way, and Rodriguez behind him

I don’t like the OPs deal, but this one is markedly worse and would be an absolute deadline failure.

If I’m Mo/Chaim, for Helsley, I’m asking the Dodgers for Josue De Paula and the Phillies for Mick Abel / Aidan Miller.
