I didn't hear any explaination last night as to why Matz left the game AND why there was no one ready to come in. Plus the fact that Oli apparently didn't plead with the umpires for extra time for the reliever due to injury, so.....??

Oli said postgame it was a miscommunication on who was supposed to be up and ready. Matz was in the clubhouse like normal after the game, no injury, no trade.

A simple one word response would have been sufficient: Oli.
