GM Matt Arnold was 2024 Exec. of the Year .. For this trade alone, he should be in consideration for 2025 award too. He has the Midas Touch on deals the last few years .
With this thumping tonight .. back to back nights .. Milwaukee will have a 2 game lead over the Cubs in NL Central lead.

And owner Attanasio two years ago tried to resign Craig Counsell but wouldn't meet his price tag. So Brewer fans were ticked that Counsell decided to sign with the their nemisis the Cubs (that came out of nowhere ) . Counsell got $8M per year from Jedd Hoyer yet the Brewers under Murphy are doing better currently.
With all the Cub fans in attendance tonight , nice to see no W flags flying the last two nights . No , Go Cubs go !

Brewers have got to have some guy like Jonah Hill played in Moneyball.
If they don't they're just the luckiest SOBs in MLB--at least during the regular season.

Brewers are a scary combo of lucky and good like the cards used to be but Vaughn will come crashing back to earth and no one will say anything else about him. But he has been worth the nothing pick up
