Brewers POBO looking smart again

While Mo is unsure what deals to make or not make , Milwaukee's GM Matt Arnold continues to pull off shrewd deals.
His latest was a deal with Chicago White Sox trading Brewer P Aaron Civaly who requested a trade after being pulled from rotation for 1B/DH Andrew Vaughn. Brewers need a guy with Rhys Hoskins injured. While only hitting .189 for White Sox the Brewers did like that he had some power in his bat. So they took a shot on him . After putting him in AAA Nashville for a bit, he has been promoted playing 13 games.. He has hit .341 with 4 HR's . The Brewer offense got a big jolt . That Arnold seems to make a lot of good deals . No wonder he was MLB Exec of the Year in 2024. Guessing he will make another deal by Thursday's deadline too. Mo needs to make some good deals himself. He has let our team fall behind the division POBO's big time.

Remind me the last time this really smart organization you want to emulate was in the World Series? Additionally, when was the last time this really smart organization won a World Series?

My memory ain’t so good.

Milwaukee has been just as bad as the Cardinals in the playoffs recently. They haven’t won a playoff series since 2018. They are 2-10 in the postseason since 2019. Haven’t been to the WS since 1982 and have never won a WS.
