Does anybody still doubt Saggese can be a good defensive 3B?

Just checking on the doubters.

Yes, a good fielder. Third base is usually occupied by a hitter with some power. He seems to look over matched at the plate against major league pitching.

Do you ever like anyone that’s actually good? You latch onto the nuts of the worst players.

The only thing in doubt is your sanity. Or maybe you’re just an idiot.

Way too early to forecast on Saggese.
Promising bat. Has flexibility in the field.
Could be a solid utility man? We’ll know more come next offseason as I think good possibility we see players moved along with JJ due to arrive!
Haven’t seen him play that many games at 3B.

Doesn’t have the arm to be a regular 3b

He is probably a utility player. Nothing wrong with that. Could have a nice career doing it.

Saggese came in on a ground ball and threw low to First base. Contreras picked it out of the dirt. Bang-bang play because of a fast runner.

Saggese is a utility player on this team. If he can play some OF even better. A RH and lesser Donovan type.

Isn't it time for another Burleson thread? Who could start one?
