If he can’t get our jacket, then the HOF is a nogo.

His best years were in Colorado.

If Nado is traded as I expect he will have played here only 5 years compared to 8 like a Matt Holliday.. so it depends on voters who feel 5 years warrant RJ .
He will most likely go into Baseball Hall of Fame first
As 350 HR and 10 GG is only 7 players..
He may be considered for Red Jacket well after Cooperstownbut no slam dunk due to only 5 years as Cardinal.
IMO he is a Rockie ‘jacket’ deserving player. Doubt if they have them.

His five years stretch in Colorado were outstanding.

No doubt. But very few HoF if any make the hall on a five year run. Takes a career.
Five years in STL is plenty. I think the protocol is three years.

Should he?
Of course not.
Will he?
Probably.
But that depends on how badly he botches the current circumstance - he is burning through fan support and goodwill at a high rate.
Tino Martinez was a far better player his 2 seasons in STL than N/A is right now.
And yet Martinez is reviled by many fans to this day.
If N/A is stupid, he could easily find himself on the same trajectory.

I see Matt Morris is in it, then I think we have to include Arenado. In general, Arenado had 2 good years here, 1 elite year here, and 2 mediocre years. I would not do it in general, but since we have cheapened who is in on it, I think we have to include him. Stating this, I do believe Arenado belongs in the HOF though. One of the best 3b defensively ever, 10 GG and 8 time all star to me is a shoo-in.
