Nado back to Colorado?

I hear it something being discussed. Colorado off the hook for deferred money, minor prospects both ways. Veteran leadership for the “new” Rockies team coming up over the next 2 years. Is this a real thing?

That would be another priceless MO move.

It's obviously why they moved McMahon. Making room.

Maybe the Rockies should be looking to do anything they can do to avoid having their franchise set the record for most losses in history.

Why would he agree to go to the worst team in baseball when he wanted out of there a few years ago?

Doubt if it would happen , but I do have a reason why he would return. He had the best years of his career there playing his first 8 seasons in Denver. He is beloved by the fanbase there. Nado has two years left on this contract. Most likely with his age, he may very well retire at the end of 2027. His body is pretty well worn out. He could finish his career before a fanbase that truly loves him. Cards fans welcomed Pujols back warmly too.
as I said very very unlikely but if no contender wants him , it may be more fun for him than staying in St. Louis for the final two years.

That actually makes a lot of sense. But the difference between he and AP was A) Albert had proven the year before his return, he still brought considerable value against LHP, and B) Albert was chasing a home run record.

Only thing Nado's chasing is fastest decline in history.

That'd still Allen Craig.

My out of leftfield prediction would be Arenado traded to the Milwaukee Brewers

It's now a contender that Nado would have never considered last winter . They are pretty much a lock to either win the division or get a wildcard spot.
yes, it's a trade within the division but doubt Mo would worry too much about that .
Brewers POBO Matt Arnold has swung some pretty surprising moves . This would be another one.

Arenado to Milwaukee or Colorado would be interesting in very different ways. Which carries more pull, a chance at a WS or going 'home'?

They can only play the Cardinals so much….
