Question Gorman IL then rehab

Pending a trade I feel like last nights line up is kind of set right now. Gorman is still young and needs to play every day imo. So my question is, when he comes back from IL can he be sent down on rehab assignment? And for how long? At least that would get him some regular at bats.

Anyone else think this is weird and going to be a huge issue. Go into the ASB and have a bad back and it's still not rectified a week later???

Sell

Starting to wonder a bit if Gorman is trying to work his way out of St.Louis? He knows when he gets back he’s gonna get spot playing time as long as NA remains a Cardinal and IH is DHing (cause he’s a god awful catcher). In order to get a starting job and play day in and day out he either needs to be traded or NA does and we’ve seen the sh’t show trying to trade NA. He’s young and hasn’t reached his prime years an I’m sure he wants that big contract someday too but you can’t prove you deserve one getting jerked around in St.Louis.

How stupid do you think other teams' GM's are? You think there would be any way to get full value if the Cardinals tried this move ?! Come on, now.

Rehab assignment up to 20 days.
The rehab assignment is part of the time on the ILm it's all one in the same and correct is 20 days. If they want to send him to the minors to get better they would have to just option him to Memphis.

He has had a bad back since his debut season.

Said then, will say it again, there is no viable fix for a bad back. For the majority of those that suffer. A surgical fix is a treacherous road at best.

Stick a fork in him already!!!

Gorman needs to be forced to stay down on rehab the maximum days allowed
If he is to be traded it needs to be in winter where he should be valued a bit more.
He isn’t worth much at the moment for sure!

It doesn’t matter. The cardinals aren’t competing for anything. Figure out ways to get guys ABs. That was supposed to be the point of the season. Nothing should have changed.
