It seems prudent to get Wetherholt some MLB experience at some point this season. To acclimate him to the MLB scene and give him something to build on in the off season to prepare for '26.

It would be incredibly stupid to call JJ up now. Why ruin his rookie status on a losing season let alone start his clock and take a roster spot now.

What part of this is NOT a season they will compete do people not understand?

Let him continue to bang on the door in AAA and call him up for a cup of coffee in September.
