Fedde postgame last night
“The truth is I’ve been awful,” Fedde said at his locker late Tuesday night in the Coors Field visitors’ clubhouse. “There is nothing more (to say). Putting the team in terrible spots. Giving up runs early. Putting the batters in tough spots. Confidence, for sure, an all-time low. … The team deserves better.”
Toughest thing in professional sports for any athlete. Your effort is there but you cannot produce and realize you are hurting your team .
Give him credit for not making excuses . He made it about the team and not himself. I wish him well .

I feel bad for the guy. The team is putting him in a horrible position by continuing to send him out there.

A stand up guy. Nobody wishes more than he does that he could perform better.

Following last season, had he had simply pitched to a .500 record and a 4.5 ERA in 2025 he would have been in line for a solid payday - maybe 3 years, 40 - 45M
Fairly low bar to put himself in that position.
Instead, a disaster.
He probably threw at least 30M bucks out the window - maybe more.

He's pitching like he did prior to going to Korea for a season. Pitched great his first year back.

Stand up guy. We all fail at things but not so publicly like these guys. No excuses or [nonsense] from him. Hope he figures things out in the offseason.
Watch the Brewers sign him and turn him into one of the best backend starters in MLB.

I do as well and the contract cost since he arrived was well below market value and worth the gamble.
If looking to the FA market even a #5 SP costs around $10M!

[/quote] Your Brewer prediction would never shock me. They picked up Jose Quintna when others thought he was washed up and he has done a decent job for them . The Brewers have some good pitching coaches there . That Chris Hook is praised a lot for what he does with that staff. That would be something if Milwaukee signed him .

I think he just came back down to earth as the back of his baseball card suggested he would. The good year was the outlier.

I think he just came back down to earth as the back of his baseball card suggested he would. The good year was the outlier.
It's possible. It's also possible the staff got inside his head like they did with Walker.

Below average, at best, catching. Pitching coach and manager that are trespassing by their presence in the dugout. Those issue did not help Fedde. Get with a quality organization, MLB quality pitching coach & manager. Add a catcher who knows the game and can help with his issue and hopefully he can make it back to the Show.
Quality people are rare. Quality players, who show what they are made of when everything is going south are scarce. I would say Marmot and MO Ran should learn from such people but they are clueless.
