Cardinals involved in 12 Sweeps- going 5-7.

Good morning.
If my math is right we have been involved in 12 sweeps beginning with Twins. This includes a four game sweep loss to the Mets. Ending with Arizona.
37 games out of 99, 37 percent of the teams games have been n a sweep. Seems like a lot.
Anyone have a league wide stat on sweeps. I couldn’t find one.
Seems high.

But 12 sweeps is awful streaky. 7 lost sweeps indicates focus and minimal strategy, maybe.
I would think that in the lost sweeps, at least 2 of the trio of Mikolas, Fedde, or Pallante were involved.

I would think that in the lost sweeps, at least 2 of the trio of Mikolas, Fedde, or Pallante were involved.
At his point, that’s a good point. If so, even more telling.

Please don’t describe them as young. “Young and not talented plus a mix of worn out veterans” is more accurate.
