First, I would have started Gray game one. Then I’d start Libby in Arizona. He’s on full rest. In Colorado I’d throw Fedde and The Mik and Pallante.

Gomber(s) isn't any better. It will be up to the offense to win the game. They will have opportunity so they need to take it. Also CO is a bad fielding team so hit the ball hard, put it in play and be agressive on the bases and force them to make mistakes.

Mo brings the kid up and has him start in the thin Colorado air where any mistake can fly out of Coors in some ego driven attempt to say, "See I was right all along not to bring him up" if the kid fails.

He’s a pitcher in the majors. If he is going to be in the rotation full time he faces every team everywhere you don’t pick and choose. My guess is people complaining about it are the ones who complained he was in minors not majors my guess is the complaints are a set up so those same people can complain they started him in Colorado if he gets lit up and if he pitches well complain that he since he pitched well in Colorado he should have been up all season so complaints will be coming no matter what

The Broad Street Bullies are long gone. The Rockies are the worst offensive team in MLB.

I'd say Mozeliak is doing the kid a favor.
