This would be great if this was a Brewers forum.

I hate the Brewers but I hate Chicago more. Let Milwaukee go on a run. Lesser of two evils.

I don't know if he's a Brewers fan, but that team seems to do more with less than anyone else, at least in this division.

It wasn’t that long ago that people said the same thing about the Cardinals. The Brewers took our model and supercharged the pitching development program. All while Mo and Dewitt allowed theirs to fester.

brewers had to find a way to stay competitive, and not do the pirates, reds, cubs typical give up [nonsense].

they took the cardinal way, and are now using it to stay competitive, while still selling one of their top players, who have value, to reload.

I would trade Mo and Oli for Matt Arnold and Pat Murphy any day of the week. Small tv markets like Milwaukee Wisconsin can have a successful MLB team with smart leadership.

Just Whit is incorrect that I am a Brewer fan. Your statement , Ordinary Man , that you don't know if I am a Brewer fan was correct.
To set the record straight, I was born in St. Louis .. a Cardinal fan growing up with Stan Musial as my childhood hero and still a fan 70 years later.
The reason for the Brewer posts is that I did live in Wis. for many years and needless to say I wasn't a hit with my Wis. buddies when the Cardinals beat the Brewers in the 1982 WS. I wasn't one to rub it in but some were pretty ticked when Brewers lost the series after leading 3 games to 2 .
I mention the Brewers as though I do not like them I give them their due how they can win despite a much lower payroll. The Brewers have bowed out early in playoffs the last couple years . A few years back they did take the Dodgers to 7th game of NLCS and were one game shy of playing in the WS.

Skill and will of Brewers vs word salad and incompetence of Cards. Results are inevitable.

Go Brewers. Show the Cardinals what a smart organization can do.

We aspire to be the Brewers now. What a transformation and switch in results.
