The Athletic described his years with Minnesota as "Gibson had a 67-68 record and 4.52 ERA for the Twins while gaining a reputation as a durable innings-eater and well-respected clubhouse presence." That's like saying a restaurant's food is mediocre, but they serve large portions of it.

The guy earned $73 million by being a 91 ERA+ pitcher for 12 years. Good for him.

Very nice career. Good for him. To stick that long in the show is impressive. He justified where he was drafted and then some

When they were signed for one year, there was a strong possibility it would be their last stop. Both had special reasons for coming here as the possible last stop in their careers.
