Yea I think the cubs will go all in they don’t have much of a choice after taking the giant risk of trading for Tucker who is a free agent they pretty much have to go all in at the deadline

I sure do think the Cubs will be active. The reasons I said 'watch out Cubs if brewers get Suarez is that not only would the Brewers being acquiring that 31 HR hitter guy , they recently added 'The Mis' as starting pitcher from their farm system who has been tremendous , Brandon Woodruff former 2 time All Star pitcher ace returned after missing all of this year, and CF Blake Perkins should be returning (a finalist for Gold Glove ).
The Cubs will need to add quite a bit to match those 4 if Brewers get Suarez . Not sure they would match that haul.

Hope they both lose. If Milwaukee wants to outbid the Yankees for a FA to be good luck with it. And it’s going to take a lot more than Tobias Myers. He wasn’t even in the big leagues long before Misiorowski and Woodruff were put in the rotation. He obviously fell out of favor quickly with Milwaukee.

If the Yankees want Suarez, they'll get him. Cashman has already said they will be very aggressive at the deadline.
