We've always known when they're on the road, but with the millions they make, why aren't they investing in the best home security systems available? Don't they foment a close group of friends and associates (agents?) who can appoint trusty house-sitters when they're on the road? Can't the ballclubs have their own security personnel for players' homes when they travel, which the players would gladly pay for?

Heck, where I live I can call a half-dozen different trusted neighborhood people anytime to stay in our house and care for our pets for a fee. And pro jocks can't?
