Van Dyke is a RHP from Stetson University (the Hatters--get it?) who is strictly a reliever. Sub 2 ERA, 71/16 K/W in 47 IP.
He was the third player on his team to be drafted this year.

did you see the underslot on their 1st Round pick, Tate Southisene? $1.3million less than slot
Yeah, it was a reach pick, but (bleep). They must've had a prearranged deal going into Sunday Night.

still....no UDFA signings by the Cards. The day is still young....but almost everyone else seems a bit more active than the Cards

that would be interesting....what if Doyle's demands weren't low enough for Angels? Will that cause a slot to OverSlot deal with the Cards?
I wonder how this one plays out?

You definitely don't have a lot of negotiating leverage as a senior. the team knows you have no other option. My room-mate in college was a senior, he was drafted 8th round in 2006, he got a signing bonus of 8,000
