Would a new address help him get his career get in the right direction? Probably would not take much to get him for a trial?

THis.

I wanted the Cards to sign Robert as a INFA, but the money was too much for DeWitt. et. al..

Now the bloom is wilting for Robert.

Timing is everything in life. Pass.

The Cardinals wouldn't have scored 1200 more runs than opponents from 2007-2022 if they weren't doing something right.

I don't see how 2007 has much to do with Robert, who was signed in 2017.

It kind of makes a Cardinals' fan appreciate Donovan, Burleson and Herrera even more.

I would be ok with giving him a shot. It’s just money.

Same with adding someone like Severino from the A’s or Alcantara from the Marlins. Take some risks on bad contract guys with our excess payroll space.
