3-7 in July

Everything should be tradeable and all offers listened to.
Not one player to build around and would draw people to a game, on the current roster

The LA Dodgers are also 3-7 in their last 10 games . Should everyone on the Dodgers be tradeable and all offers listened to also ?scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑12 Jul 2025 22:24 pm![]()

Of course, the Dodgers and Phillies are leading their divisions. Apples to Oranges argument.ramfandan wrote: ↑12 Jul 2025 22:33 pmThe LA Dodgers are also 3-7 in their last 10 games . Phillies are 4-6 in their last 10 . Do they join the club too ?
Yes because they are in 3rd place in their division and outside of the playoffs. All with the best record in the NL. 2nd best in all of MLB. Sell!ramfandan wrote: ↑12 Jul 2025 22:33 pmThe LA Dodgers are also 3-7 in their last 10 games . The Cards are now only one game out of fourth place in the NLC.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑12 Jul 2025 23:14 pmYes because they are in 3rd place in their division and outside of the playoffs. Agree 100%, scouty. It just appears to me that Mo has this "ride off into the sunset" attitude (which has already began - he's almost confessed as much). Too bad because, in past times, he has shown the ability to do the job right concerning the team's needs before the deadline (example in '22 - excellent!). I'm just not expecting much, if anything (the willful neglect of needed bat(s) in '15 still haunt). Hopefully I'm wrong.
Last month, my baseball savvy brother-in-law was afraid that they were returning to reality. I wasn't quite ready to surrender to that observation...but I'm a lot closer now than I was then.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑12 Jul 2025 22:24 pm![]()

Kicking the can down the road...to find out they still suck.rockondlouie wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025 11:18 am I'd wait till after this 10 game stretch of games and then evaluate where they stand:
3 Games each at:
DBacks
Rockies
Before 4 Home Games 7/24-7/27:
Padres
(HUGE series since they hold the final WC spot)
After those games Mo/Bloom should have a good handle on whether to sell, buy or do both before:
3 Games Home 7/28-7/30
Marlins
Of course you could DFA/Trade Mikolas and or Fedde at any time, neither would ever be missed.
It’s what this organization does best.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025 11:21 amKicking the can down the road...to find out they still suck.rockondlouie wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025 11:18 am I'd wait till after this 10 game stretch of games and then evaluate where they stand:

Helsley is probably the only real asset they'll trade that could being back anything of value, won't bring back any better prospect if you deal him 7/20 or 7/28th.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025 11:21 amKicking the can down the road...to find out they still suck.rockondlouie wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025 11:18 am I'd wait till after this 10 game stretch of games and then evaluate where they stand:

I don't think they have any valuable assets, thats why is be listening to all and any offers.rockondlouie wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025 11:29 amHelsley is probably the only real asset they'll trade that could being back anything of value, won't bring back any better prospect if you deal him 7/20 or 7/28th.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025 11:21 amKicking the can down the road...to find out they still suck.rockondlouie wrote: ↑13 Jul 2025 11:18 am I'd wait till after this 10 game stretch of games and then evaluate where they stand:

Mikolas and Fedde have zero trade value, Matz won't bring back anything but a lotto prospect.
Noot could go, but he won't bring back a Top 15 prospect.
Maton has value but won't bring back anything special, same w/JoJo.
Doubt they move on this season from Gorman or Walker.
I'd deal Bumbles, they won't.
They won't deal Donny, Winn, Hererra, VSII or Libby.
NADO, Gray and WillyC have NTC's and won't waive (the exception being NADO if the Dodgers come calling).
So as you can see, there's really no rush scouty since they really only have one valuable asset (Helsley) we know they'll trade.
