Actually the loss is on our two best BP arms who coughed up 4 in the last two innings!

Can’t pile on Maton too much as he has been nails mostly!
Mental mistakes today.
Helsley?
How many 0-2 hits does he give up on pitches down the middle????

Same thought came to my mind. With 2 strikes on a guy , he sure doesn't throw to make the guys chase pitches off the plate. It seems like he is challenging with good pitches even though the batter is deep in he hole.

Fedde did not help matters only going 4 plus innings and allowing 3 runs. That is not a good start.

I think he has fears about walking hitters?
Normally when he struggles it involves walks.
Also his fastball command is shaky.
Still on 0-2 to some putz hitting 7th you go off the plate once or twice.
Especially with his slider.

Agree
BUT the problem wasn’t the middle guys.
Graceffo and Romero were strong!

I agree but the bullpen blew it!
