Fedde makes all of his starts until the trade deadline. At that point he is either traded, or all bets are off. I know that his performance speaks for itself, but the Cardinals aren't going to take any actions that message he is not a viable starter while they are trying to trade him. While I hate to see him pitch, this is the correct approach.

Yes it is. However, I'm expecting very little from Mo by the deadline. He said as much about a month ago. Anything otherwise is just the same ol' Mo rhetoric.

Cards screwed the pooch not dealing him in December. He had value then. Something like a prospect that would slot into the STL top ten value.
Now, unless he pitches lights out from here to the trade deadline he has flatlined in value.

Reference- his place on the team, an attempt to avoid a sweep at the break, a win puts us in position to win series.
A must win in all the little variables of the game. Nothing more.

He needs to put together 4 good starts in a row so they can trade him for something of value.

It would certainly help if he wouldn't hang pitches over the middle of the plate.

As for Fedde personally, is his career at risk given another stinker.
