Does anyone know what the attendance figures are so far? I'm wondering if they'll reach 2,000,000 this year.

Apparently if fans don't show up it hurts the players feelings!

Averaging a little over 29,000 per game, about 6,000 below last year. They’ll get to 2,000,000 though.

You know, most anyone who presided over a 44% decline in sales like that would be fired, even if he is the owner.

Fans have shown up in droves if they feel the FO is committed to winning. Even when they missed the playoffs two years in a row under TLR and even three years in a row under Matheny, they still had strong attendance.

They showed with the firing of Shildt that the commitment wasn't there. They got a reprieve when Pujols wanted back. But with the deflating Phillie series to end out 2022, Pujols being gone, the illusion was gone. But fans have made it clear, they dont think the team is committed to winning now. Keeping Oli and MO after the 2023 debacle just emphasized that.
