Reset not short-term rebuild, just Mo-speak

The same crowd wanting to trade everyone is mostly the same crowd complaining Mo doesn't know what he's doing. The big selloff two years ago netted nothing. The only recent trade acquisition of any value is Liberatore who took years to develop and costed a much needed AS OFer.
A return to prominence will only come from astute drafting over the next several years and proper development, not acquiring other team's reject prospects. Those thinking the team should give up and sell off to compete next year using prospect capital are delusional.
So why wait? Add as aggressively as possible with trades for actual ML players, whether it's young players with remaining team control or taking on some payroll. DeWitt money savers and hyperventilating prospect geek fraternity heads might explode, but this team is MANY YEARS away from fielding a homegrown contender. Either wait for 2030 to maybe start winning or get to adding now because that is their only chance of avoiding a lost decade.
This approach is not a short-sighted belief in the team as currently constructed. It is acknowledging there is a price for drafting and developing poorly for so long and throwing out stupid buzzwords like "Reset" isn't going to fix anything and only serves to reduce angst in the passive fan. Bet those hollering "Reset" never even used the term in this context until Mo implanted it into your head with his PR jargon.
This team needs help to get better now, for the now, and the future.
