More pitches get by catchers this year than in 20 years of Yadi. He made a helluva difference.

The three most guaranteed things in life....Death, taxes and candy crawling out from under his rock immediately after a Yadier Molina post.

Fedde has 57 Ks in 95 innings.
Mikolas has 60 in 87.
Pallante has 63 in 94.
That's bad.
Liberatore has 80 in 97.
Adequate.
That means the team has 3 or 4 starting pitchers who fully rely on throwing balls in the dirt, or on catchers frantically trying to yank balls off the plate into the zone (which requires moving the glove before the ball has settled into it).
Only the Rockies and White Sox have recorded fewer K's than the Cardinals.
That is why you are seeing so many pitches get away.

No it’s because pages isn’t good at blocking have u seen him catch? He’s awful at blocking pitches. If you’re a catcher who needs the pitcher to strike out a bunch of hitters because you aren’t good at blocking then you aren’t very good
