The #STLCards have scratched star third baseman Nolan Arenado from today's game with a right shoulder impingement. He is being listed as day to day by the club. Thomas Saggese will replace Arenado at third and will hit fifth in the lineup

It's time for Saggese to step it up on offense. He's very capable. Seems Gorman at 3B and Saggese at 2B would be more practical, defensively.

Saggese looking more an more like J.A.G.

And you're right, Saggese should be at 2nd base and Gorman at 3rd but that's too complicated for Oli who also is keeping the WEAK hitting Saggese in the #5 hole.

L-R-L-R-L-R even if it means slotting a weak hitter into the MOTO. ::crazya::

I swear Oli is the most inept Manager we've ever seen, he makes M. Matheny look like C. Stengel.

Total dumb[ash]. Hired by a total putz. Oli's legacy will be being hired because he was Mo's weasel.

After yesterday’s humiliation Nado is just looking for a place to hide. He’s not a leader.

We all know he's not a leader. He's just riding out his career when healthy

He's not going to waive his NTC so everyone needs to stop making up trades for him

He's comfortable here and doesn't want to move, especially during the season

I bet if a top team came calling, he'd go

Yes Saggesse at 2B and Gorman 3B. But man you are early calling Saggesse a JAG. If he had been drafted out of college and started his first year in AA at age 21 and hit 320 with pop you would think he is a real prospect. So why is he a JAG when age 23 he is in the majors and has some struggles?

Look, he may end up being a JAG, I just don't think it is time to make that determination. Hopefully he displays his real potential by next year and doesn't take as long as Gorman has to hit in the majors.

Early?

Nope

He's going to have no position on this team once JJW hits St. Louis (NADO then Gorman/3rd, Winn/SS, JJW/Donny/2B).

And glad he (finally) had a good game yesterday but after his most recent recall he's slashing: .254 .270 .352 .622 = JAG, during his short stints in MLB: .233 .262 .333 .595 = JAG.

I think he'll make a quality Utility infielder, perhaps he's involved in a trade after JJW arrives?

But I'm comfortable w/calling him a JAG until proven wrong, so far I'm not wrong.

first....I think you are right...

so they are stuck with a guy who doesn't care about being on a better team with an opportunity to win....

not the kind of guy a club wants.....or should want..on their roster
