Pomeranz has been unhittable. He should only go one or so, and Wicks follows, to the fifth. Then hard throwing righties/

Libby must be on the plate. Cubs are like tenth in not chasing pitches. Can’t get behind in count, and certainly can’t walk.

If not mistaken, happ has like 23 homers against us in Mike 120 at bats.

Both happ and Tucker didn’t participate in yesterday’s home run derby.

Wind blowing to right.

given the players at his disposal, this is probably about the best lineup we could put out there.

I thought for sure Hampson would be starting in CF today after getting a critical double off a Cubbie position player in the 9th yesterday.

That position player closing out the game for the cubs would be shameful to any team with any pride, somehow it just doesn't affect this team. No shame it seems. :P :P :P

Thx duce

A better Manager may have given thought to starting Pozo (.321 .325 .462 .787) on a team that's as offensively challenged lately as the Cardinals instead of Pages (.217 .268 .353 .621) but not Oli.

But Mikolas didn't shake off Pages 1 time yesterday! That's what's most important!

POZO sucks at throwing out base stealers...he's not Ivan horrible but he's working on it
