Pozo + Crooks in 2026 is probably more interesting than Pages + CrooksOzziesfan41 wrote: ↑04 Jul 2025 21:07 pm I don’t see why in the world they would dump pozo he’s one of the few good bench players
+1 agree. Pozo can do more than just be a back up he’s the guy I want up there late in the game when u have a runner at third and need him inAn Old Friend wrote: ↑04 Jul 2025 21:38 pmPozo + Crooks in 2026 is probably more interesting than Pages + CrooksOzziesfan41 wrote: ↑04 Jul 2025 21:07 pm I don’t see why in the world they would dump pozo he’s one of the few good bench players
disagree on "the article kinda sucks"Strummer Jones wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025 10:29 am That article kinda sucks. There's pretty much no mention of how the upcoming trade deadline will affect this.
1. I probably keep Pozo. I know it's limited duty, but he has been a steady presence in the line-up. His hitting reminds me of Alejandro Kirk. Probably not a lot of power, but an excellent contact hitter. It's not flashy in today's day and age of slug, but not everyone can or should be swinging for the fences.
2. See the trade deadline. No matter what happens over the course of this month, there's going to be change. If we catch a heater, then I think there will be some buying. If we continue to get pounded, then we're definitely selling. Either way, I expect a portion of this roster to look completely different this time next month.
