Luck of the Irish ... had 3 hits total tonight ( 7 for Guardians ) ... Win the game without a hit in the 10th inning !
Cubs are 14-8 in 1-run games this year !

And nothing like facing Colin Rea to cure an offensive slump. He’s given up 49 hits and 10 HR in his last 36.2 IP. A dandy 6.63 ERA. Hope we tee off him like we did Taillon, who by the way goes Saturday.

the small bears are now 12-0 vs the Guardians, Rockies, Athletics, and White Sox. They don't stumble against lousy teams.
Their record vs NLC rivals is 14-8.
Cardinals are 2-2 vs them, and need to score early and often vs Rea and Taillon in the first two games. Lefty Boyd will be on the mound Sunday.

Taking a snapshot in time, today, Chicago is the better team in the central. Maybe the league. If they make a move, they will be tough to catch.
Yes. It’s a reset. Yes. It’s gone much better than expected. Bodes well for future if we luck out:

looks like we are getting another lefty on Sat. - Taillon is hurt
