But the goal of anyone team should be to win a World Series not just to be better than 500 and that’s all the ownership wants and that is what we get.

How do you field a WS contender every year? This is professional sports with built with parity. Such as the worst teams getting best picks in draft.

Keep boycotting the team kiddo, things keep up the way they are it will be far easier for ownership to move the team to Nashville in the coming decades. Civic progress down there would be thrilled to host a mediocre team for a few years until the market corrects to allow real spending again. The next Cardinal WS win will not be in STL.

If you do some research the Cardinals winning formula for every WS is the same. Top 5 farm system AND a top 10 payroll. Until they have both they will not be a contender and I personally will not spend $ on them. When the owner spends on some superstar talent to supplement the role players they have the fans will come back

If the stl customers are being treated pathetically ….it is because they allow it

The customers have total power to end their suffering.

Yes the fans control this by not going to games , paying for the subscription to games on tv, stop buying cardinal merchandise.Also I understand they are not going to win World Series every year, but they have not been true contenders for years.
