Some good perspective on the Fedde situation

Has he really lost substantial trade value from last season? When the Cardinals gave up Edman for him. His relatively low salary may still create some interest. Which teams might need an average, experienced starting pitcher?

Do you read the articles you link?
“It makes sense to trade Fedde, but the Cardinals might not net much of a return for him at this point. The righty hasn't been great this season, so it's unlikely the Cardinals can land any sort of significant prospect return.”

It would have to be a desperate pretender who thinks they're a contender (sucker) with the way he's pitching. A real contender would have no use for him. Maybe if they were getting last year's version.
Also, you need a different news source. The link you posted the other day that stated the Yankees "ripped" Paul Goldschmidt for his recent play...I read the story and no content that supported the headline, which did read as you stated. Clickbait trash.

dumb[ash], it's also about opening up a spot for outstanding starting pitcher prospects, namely McGreevy, and still staying competitive in the race.

Thanks for the link
Mathews and/or Roby need a couple more impressive starts. Which may give the Cardinals some flexibility with Mikolas, too. Also, Matz could start in Mikolas spot, too.

For some reason, I tried answering your topic seriously. What angered you about my response?

Well [shirt], why didn’t you say so. Getting rid of one pitcher opens a spot for another? Freaking revolutionary thinking my man.

What do you think would happen if they got rid of a position player? Would it have the same effect?

I’m not sure what’s closer to diarrhea, a Hardee’s taco or a Shady post.
