Good morning.
Does what to the NL.
They lost Steele, and need a cost controlled pitch. Sandy has two years. 2.74 era in four June starts.
Many here entertains the idea of him in STL. But, if he goes to Cubs, what next.
This isn’t my idea. Espn article spells it out.
Thoughts.

It says Cubs have better management more desire to win.

Alcantara to either the Cubs, Cards, or Brewers has the potential to tilt the division.

You might put a question mark in your title, to make it a little clearer that this isn't breaking news.

+1.
That's how I read it. I clicked looking for a link to the trade. Then came to the realization it was a hypothetical .

I've done that quite a bit. Always in a hurry. Forcing myself to slow down is always a chore

Takes nothing to do it right. I just had my head up my fourth point of contact.

Asssuming he keeps pitching like his June stats, it makes them a serious World Series contender. Him, and health out of the rest of the rotation.

He strung 3 decent starts together in June but just got torched by the DBacks. TJ recovery takes longer for some guys than others. Waino wasn't good his first year back after TJ either.
Not sure it means jack for 2025.

Would the Marlins be interested in a deal involving Jordan Walker for Alcantara? Or Nolan Gorman, maybe. I'd prefer Edward Cabrera to Alcantara, right now.

It’s a sports illustrated article with Dave Holcomb.
