How are they in a playoff spot with these 2 bums taking up rotation spots?

They each had a decent run in May and early June, but both are imploding at the same time. It is definitely time to consider promoting McGreevy and figuring what to do with one or the other of these two. Unfortunately, we do not have 2 SPs ready to replace both of them.

All three have same very unremarkable stats
Fedde and Miles could be twins with the junk they throw up there
Pallante has a different look but same results.

Stop with this……go get a SP and start McGreevy…..live with Pallante

If they want to make a run, that is really the only answer.

Immediately, they need to stick MM in pen for long relief and start Mcgreevy. That way they can see if McGreevy is in the realm of possibly being a decent playoff game starter. If hes not, then cards know they have 2 starters only and to not pass up all contract expiring player trades etc. in some unwise playoff attempt.

When you have a career ERA near 5 this is the pitcher you get, not the one last season. And Mikalos has made over $100mill off of one great season and one good season...the other 5 seasons are dog leavings.

Got shut out in last 3/4 games against lefties, we really had no chance either way.
Gotta get rid of one of Fedde/Mikolas.

They said the cards have scored 2 or fewer runs in 11 of his starts i know you think pitchers should throw shut outs every start but baseball doesn’t work out like that. Fedde should have been traded in the off season like I said though

And this is who we traded Tommy Edman for......and a 1/2 season of that thug Tommy Pham. Wow.

Good luck finding a trade partner for a couple of aging pitchers who can't get anybody out .

Timing is everything. We got time before deadline for him to throw another gem. Next day- gone. Timing.

Mo loved to give those premature extensions
