Another fun fact: Mitch Keller got the win on Friday with the Pirates scoring 9 runs. Before that start, they hadn’t scored more than 2 runs in a start of his since May 2nd, a run spanning 9 consecutive starts with 2 runs or less. It was also the first time the Pirates had scored 5 or more runs in a Mitch Keller start since September 7th, 2024. A run spanning 19 consecutive starts with less than 5 runs of run support.

After this trip is over, our next 3 road trips are 6 gamers.

I did indeed and been following that myself!

Quite a turnaround from the team that couldn't win road games to start the season.

They have a shot at going 5-1 vs AZ/COL..........3-3 vs LA/SD (Cards are 5-1 vs the NLW).....4-2/3-3 vs TB/MIA (hopefully the Marlins are back to their losing ways by this time).

Now they need to improve in those Xtra innings games (3-5).
