They are making the buy/sell decision rather difficult. If within five at the deadline. I look for Mo to stand pat.

You seem more obsessed with my posting than I am with Burleson, Saggese and Roby as players. By the way, Saggese has slid a little on my promotional efforts right mow.CorneliusWolfe wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 17:08 pmI hope they trade Roby, Sagesse and Burlseon for a stud RFer. Aww c’mon, don’t jump off the bandwagon now! 'Standing pat' risks falling behind our division rivals. . Everybody and their uncle know the Brewers will make a big move ( word is acquiring a starting pitcher ) and Cubs aren't going to sit idle either .
Trading Walker would probably be rock bottom return. Maybe better to stash him in AAA and hope he has a sustained run of dominance. Then decide if it’s real or flip him as fool’s gold.cardstatman wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 17:23 pm It is a "buy" / "stand pat" / "sell" decision.
They won't sell if they are still in the race.
The reason to buy would be to fix some of the weakest links or add a crazy strong link.
IMHO, the pitching staff is the weakest link. Maybe add a reliever or two to upgrade King and/or O'Brien?
3.36 2.96 Gray
3.70 3.05 Liberatore
4.76 3.96 Mikolas
4.11 4.49 Fedde
4.43 4.53 Pallante
4.22 3.37 McGreevy - depth / insurance
1.69 2.09 Maton
3.38 2.65 Matz (LH)
2.82 3.81 Leahy
3.41 3.88 Helsley
2.81 3.91 Romero (LH)
4.50 4.26 King
3.24 3.75 Svanson
2.25 4.59 O'Brien
1.35 2.94 Granillo - depth / insurance
6.62 2.81 Graceffo - depth / insurance
6.92 3.78 Roycroft - depth / insurance
Or they could go big and trade Walker and valuables to add a starting pitcher to replace Mikolas.

Corn, do you consider Burleson "out of nowhere"? And, Saggese will be fine. I'm just a little disappointed in how tentative he's seemed at the plate since he's returned.CorneliusWolfe wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 17:21 pmAww c’mon, don’t jump off the bandwagon now! I actually like Sagesse too. Don’t really care much about tracking prospects. Too much hype and too many busts to get my hopes up for. Then out of nowhere you get a Donovan or Pujols. So I just wait till they hit the bigs and see what they can do. Not enough time in the day.

I don't know why you would trade Burleson he's one of the best hitters on the team and he's improving on defense.CorneliusWolfe wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 17:08 pmI hope they trade Roby, Sagesse and Burlseon for a stud RFer. Could you survive such a turn of events?
How'd they get Roby and Saggese?CorneliusWolfe wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 17:08 pmI hope they trade Roby, Sagesse and Burlseon for a stud RFer. Could you survive such a turn of events?
One current hitter with an 800 OPS on the entire team, and it's 804.cardstatman wrote: ↑29 Jun 2025 17:23 pm It is a "buy" / "stand pat" / "sell" decision.
