A Coalition of Stars

The addition of one star player won’t make this club a World Series contender. It must be a coalition of stars. A constellation of them.

Pujols, Holliday, Berkman, Furcal, Yadi, Carpenter, Wainwright, Mott, LaRussa and Duncan.
Not just one. This club needs to think constellation and coalition when they get serious about winning a World Series.

Cardly, you are going to get called a "hater" on this board (and I guess I will to) for pointing this out. I completely agree with you. Building a dangerous post season team is a many step process. The Cards still have a long way to go to build that dangerous an MLB roster. 2025 has been a good start.

How often do you expect to have 2 player HOFers and a manager and coach HOFer on the same team?

Need a player you pay to see play...not one on this team
