Thanks Duce. Gray doesn't pitch well on the road.
I look forward to seeing Ramirez...one of my favorites in MLB

I admit I know little about Cleveland this year. But if Lane Thomas and his .517 OPS is hitting second I'll guess the pitching is working double time to keep them near .500.

Cleveland's best Player:
José Ramírez left Thursday’s game against the Blue Jays with a bruised right forearm.
Ramírez was plunked in the fourth inning by Kevin Gausman and he wasn’t able to continue. The good news is that the third baseman has already undergone imaging, and X-rays returned negative.
Consider Ramírez day-to-day, but there’s a good chance he’s back in the lineup this weekend. -yahoosports

Without Ramirez there isn’t much difference between the Guardians lineup and the White Sox lineup.
3 players with an OPS above .650. 1,3, and 5 in their order.
1: .799 OPS
2. .517 OPS
3. .743 OPS
4. .514 OPS
5. .730 OPS
6. .618 OPS
7. .649 OPS
8. .641 OPS
9. .622 OPS

I don't know if AppleTV+ will show it, but tonight's National Anthem will be performed by saxophonist Mike Williams.
I'm a big fan of brass instruments performing the anthem.

I wish Apple TV would leave the Cardinals alone. This Friday and next Friday against the Cubs, Apple TV has the rights. Oh well.

a bit OT but I didn't think it deserved its own thread:
Infielder/outfielder Jose Barrero, who was recently designated for assignment by the Cardinals, went unclaimed on waivers and has rejected an outright assignment in favor of free agency, MLBTR has learned. Barrero will explore opportunities around the league but also has interest from at least one team in Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball and is weighing whether to pursue an overseas opportunity.
