Everybody talks (self included) about the damage to pitchers' elbows with these fireballers, but I also wonder if catchers, receiving hundreds of thousands of these bullets every season, suffer long-term nerve damage on their catching hands. That's a LOT of kinetic energy to suddenly stop just with a mitt.

Misiorowski is so good, but Skenes has an arsenal of pitches that's crazy. And all of Skenes' pitches are good - sweeper and curve both so good.

Yes. Skenes wasn't exactly helped by Gonzales' error and Cruz not catching that "double." In fairness, I thought Cruz was going to catch the pop up so the guy on 2b had to wait, but the batter could run all the way.
