Has 11 of 15 teams with positive run differentials. Which is interesting.

I have been a cardinals fan since I was 9 years old in early 1992. This current team can look so low on talent many nights and yet they are having a very solid season. Pacing close to 90 wins and a season long +80 RD. Looks like 92 wins for a wild card.

They are a solid, but not great team.

C: Pages/Pozo- combined 1.0 bWAR
1B: Contreras 1.1 bWAR
2B: Donovan 2.2 bWAR
3B: Arenado 1.4 bWAR
SS: Winn 1.0 bWAR
LF: Nootbaar 1.1 bWAR
CF: Scott 1.7 bWAR
RF: Walker -1.0 bWAR
DH: Herrera 1.0 bWAR
OF/DH: Burleson 1.0 bWAR

If you put Burleson in RF, you’ve got an entire lineup of 1.0+ bWAR players right now. Only 1 above 2 though. But having an entire lineup of solid players is going to be at least a solid team.
