Springfield 1, Corpus Christi 0 ***FINAL***
Tink Hence ~ 4 1/3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 8 K
Zane Mills ~ 2 2/3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 2 K
Austin Love ~ 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
Sean Harney ~ 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K
------------
Hence threw 66 pitches, slated for 65 pitches coming in. He mixed control fastball with Curve/Slider/Change up
The BP was impressive on their own...Mills has struggled all year, Harney is hit or miss....with Love, they were unhittable.
1 year anniversary of their 1st No Hitter...against the same team....Corpus Christi .

I sure love Springfield this year. Hope this is the start of something special for Tink. 8 K's in 13 outs is so goooood.

As I Mill-ed this over, you gotta Love it, not even a Harney of a hit, Hence, quite the success.

Thanks, but I do realize I stink with many/most attempts, probably including this one. "Harney of a hit", that's not even a thing, lol.

In 9 no hit innings, Sean pitched one.

The more I think about it, how crazy is it that they threw a no-hitter on the same day back to back years against the same club? That might be one of those remarkable feats we should never forget, even if it was a minor league team.

Would have to guess that's NEVER been done before.
Great pic, Crav, thanks.
Guessing we don't have a P named Nary down at Springfield. Having a Harry Nary, well, I don't care if he stinks, we need him at the show.
