Cards LINEUP....in route with Saggese to the ballpark. He got lost on I-55. And took a wrong turn at Alburqueque

Would Marmol go Winn, Saggese, Donovan, Burleson? Didn't Saggese do pretty well hitting at 2 earlier in the season?

Cardinals will hope Thomas Saggese arrives in time for today’s game, but Oli Marmol has a separate lineup just in case he does not. Regardless, both Contreras and Arenado are off tonight. Bullpen is pretty thin too.

So even if Saggese doesn’t get there they are still not going to play Contreras or Arenado?

Contreras should be DHing tonite. But good to have Saggese bat in the lineup.

They may surprise you. Saggese at 5 tells me they are pretty high on his hitting ability.

Yesterday was the survival day. They survived Oli"s moves and non-moves.

Sitting aging veterans a day after playing a true double header? I dislike Oli and Mo as much as the next guy but that's not a hill I'm willing to die on. It sucks but I understand the move, especially with 13 straight games coming up
