End of 2025 season I suppose
Still lots of holes in their swing and overall game IQ

Wetherholt and Saggese might have something to do with that.

Agree
JJ ST 2026 most likely.
Same with Saggese unless someone is dealt at deadline.

Well, don't look now, but both of them are a game or two away from passing Nootbaar by on batting average. Not out of the question that they would overtake Scott and Arenado. They're getting close. They are both showing progress- don't get impatient now.

Well since Gorman doubled, I’m sure your reaction will change.
Gorman came into today with the best OPS on the team over the last 30 days at .980. And Walker was .844 OPS since May 14th.

I’m fine trading Gorman anytime. Seen enough and need to make room in the infield.
Walker is different primarily because talent depth in outfield is not as good.

I’d rather see Noot on the bench, but the fans at Busch couldn’t chant Nnnoooooooot. One of the all-time over-hyped players in recent Cardinals history. He and his great batting eye struck out twice again tonight.
Nice bunt Barrera. Other wonderful addition to the roster.

JW is a huge disappointment. He needs to be in AA
UniKKKorn has shown some life

True. But overall both have been disappointing. My thought is we have options in the infield and prospects coming up. Walker is filling a hole in the outfield.

No, he really isn't. Bring up Antico. JW's WAR is getting worse
65 OPS+, bad defense

I’m sure they are going to leave that decision to bloom. They’re giving them runway for the year so when he takes over he can make the choices on who to keep and who not to. I like the plan.

I like JW and want him to succeed. But someone has to get through to him that you DON'T GUESS WITH TWO STRIKES. I feel better for shouting at the clouds.... He leads the league lately at looking at a very hittable pitch on strike 3, usually in key situations in the game when all he had to do was guard the dish and put the ball in play. The kid hits mistakes hard, but right now that is about it... and not if they are strike 3 mistakes when he was looking for something else.

Looking at the things Joshua Baez is doing, I think Jordan Walker better watch his (bleep).

Indeed. .946 OPS baby.. Kid has put it together this season. I wonder when he goes up a league...... Hope he is the real deal. Few are, but some do pan out....

When I looked towards the right of my screen and saw 25 stolen bases to go with all of this I said this is the real deal.
