Glorious effort surrounding Burleson in the lineup. Vasil on pace for 27 K’s and 9 hits give up on 135 pitches.

This is the first I've heard of him. His last outing was 4IP, 71 pitches, both season highs. Good numbers in his rookie year.

Oh goodie Barrero at SS! I wish they would send him down and recall Saggese! The averages of the Cards hitters at the bottom of the lineup is pitiful!

They have a .293 OBP and .635 OPS. Both are among the worst offensive numbers in the last 50 years. Not far off last year’s numbers.

again....how did he make me look like a fool? He was what we all, but you, said he was. Swings at everything, weak contact out of the zone....11th on the team in barrel rate and hard hit balls. He we would need to correct that to be successful.
At least he's hitting now....wish he could do that with RISP. He should lead off.

A 7-8-9 of Pages, Barrero and Scott is about as dust as I could imagine

You have said numerous times you don't like Burleson as a player. Admit it. Good for you. But he seems like a dang good MLB hitter to me.
