Pretty incredible numbers. If the Lakers are worth $10b, can you imagine what the Yankees or Cowboys are worth?
I think Buss paid around $67m for the Lakers back in the 70's.

They say it could be as high as $12B.
Forbes had the Lakers values at 7.1B.
It’s almost every time - sale amount far exceeds the estimates.

My understanding is that Ohtani's contract also includes playing shooting guard for the Lakers.

Wouldn't it be great to own a business which loses $10 mil a year --- no income taxes!! ---, but returns your investment tenfold when you sell it 10 or 20 years later?

Massive overpayment by 2B-3B,
No way the Lakers are worth that.
NBA popularity is waning, smart money (Cuban, Buss, Celtics, Suns, Bucks, ect...) getting out now because they see it.

I would love to see the Cowboys sold to see what it’s worth.
