I don't know what message he was sending other than he's unprofessional and doesn't know how to play first base. Wilson needed to grow up when he was a Cub and he's still a child.Baseball Savant wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 19:06 pm But at least team has a pulse today.

Maybe, but like many kids/clowns he's pretty funny.Northsider76 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025 02:37 amI don't know what message he was sending other than he's unprofessional and doesn't know how to play first base. He’s more a squeaky wheel. A squeaky wheel gets you he oil. A rusty nail leads to tetanus.Baseball Savant wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 19:06 pm But at least team has a pulse today.

Just as I hated his antics when he played for the small bears, I am sure you and all your cubby brethren loved Willson when he helped your team win a WS. Just like you loved Hot Dog Javy and Wife Beater Addy.Northsider76 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025 02:37 amI don't know what message he was sending other than he's unprofessional and doesn't know how to play first base. The scrubbies also had a Manager who liked to chew on toothpicks who had his share of "antics" too.12xu wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025 09:13 amJust as I hated his antics when he played for the small bears, I am sure you and all your cubby brethren loved Willson when he helped your team win a WS. Contreras plays with passion, and often inspires his team. Sometimes he goes overboard, but better to do that than be passive and unconcerned.
I didn't know Javy liked hot hogs. I hope to god he doesn't put ketchup on them.12xu wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025 09:13 amJust as I hated his antics when he played for the small bears, I am sure you and all your cubby brethren loved Willson when he helped your team win a WS. "Decked?" He stepped into the runner's lane and stuck his enormous dumpster in the way. Contreras was in the wrong, then acted like a clown when he homered.Baseball Savant wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025 19:06 pm But at least team has a pulse today.

He brings leadership, isn't afraid to show emotion and goes right after an opponent.
