At the end of April Noot’s OBP was .400. On May 16th it was .374. Today it is .334. Nootbaar has only 8 walks since May 16th in 99 PAs. His biggest calling card has been reduced.
At the end of April Scott’s OBP was .336. On May 16th it was .333. Today it is .329.
Scott’s walk rate is almost 10% (9.5%), which is pretty good for a player with his speed. He also has been “helped” by 5 HBP’s as well.
This may be an interesting time to change up the leadoff spot.
The gap is closing between Noot and Victor Scott

Noot can’t hit a poot. It’s one thing to ground out repeatedly, another to K repeatablly. Not from lead off. Kills the first inning.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑13 Jun 2025 09:33 am At the end of April Noot’s OBP was .400. On May 16th it was .374. Today it is .334. Nootbaar has only 8 walks since May 16th in 99 PAs. I'd like to see Wetherholt in that leadoff spot
