yeah....I didn't think they'd give Roby two bookend starts on the road in his first week in AAA....especially when they're watching/controlling his innings coming off 2 injury plagued seasons...under 50 innings each year.

he seems to have a bad game every start.

his runs usually come at the end of his starts...which ruin his day. Stop him at 75pitches, then you'll get your 3-4 ERA guy. Extend him to near 100, you'll get the 9 ERA guy.

Cornwell eating innings is more important for the BP than his own stats. He's not high in the Prospect pecking order.

Love the guy, followed him for 4 years, but he's a red headed, step child right now.

anyways...Padilla has lifted the average 70-80 points in a weeks time. If the hit tool gets there, this kid will be insane...and I'm talking more insane than JJ....the speed, the glove, the arm are there....hit is the concern. He's so young, that you can't fault lacking with the hit right now.

With the protection that Davis is given, you'd think he'd be much better this year....that really concerns. Protected by Bernal and Baez, and he can't hit it over 95mph if he does hit it at all

Davis hit tool is a concern.
I don't like his at-bats.
